WHO WE ARE

The West Coast Seniors Hub is a Seniors Resource Centre

Offers programs, services, activities and events for Seniors that support AGE-Friendly living in Ucluelet and in our neighbouring communities on the West coast of Vancouver Island.

The West Coast Seniors Hub - Membership

This program is AGE-friendly and its activities are guided by Seniors for Seniors. Members of this group include volunteers and partner organizations that support our goals and objectives.

The West Coast Seniors Hub - Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee is made up of a group of dedicated seniors who volunteer their time to help to guide the development and implementation of programs, services, activities and events.

The West Coast Seniors Hub - Partners

This project was originally initiated by the District of Ucluelet in support of Ucluelet's 2016 AGE-Friendly Action Plan. In 2017, District staff applied for funding to the New Horizon Seniors Program (Employment and Social Development Canada) and received a grant to start up the West Coast Seniors Hub - Pilot Project.

The list with links to our partners and supporters, and their websites, can be found on 'OUR PARTNERS' page.

The West Coast Seniors Hub - Volunteers

We value the positive energy our volunteers bring and appreciate the work they do to help make our community AGE-Friendly. Working together, we can influence change towards a better quality of life for all ages on the West Coast.

We welcome diversity and encourage all ages to participate and wish to thank you in advance for your interest in volunteering!
